EM-Power Europe  is the international exhibition on energy management and integrated energy solutions and taking place form 19-21 June. A day ahead starts the EM-Power Europe Conference, focusing on the modernization and digitalization of the power grid into a flexible smart grid.

DSO Entity, as Partner, will be joining its international conference for energy management and integrated energy solutions taking place 18-20 June in Munich. This conference will focus on the latest trends and developments in modernising and digitalising the power grid, as well as prosumer and renewable energy integration, and power to heat concepts.

EM-Power Conference, 18-20 June

Data Interoperability expert Rick van Beek (Stedin) will join the panel session "Interoperable and secure data sharing of energy in a consumer-centric market design" on June 19, from 14:00 - 15:30 (CET).

Utility Knowledge Exchange, 20 June

On 20 June, two parallel sessions covering four topics will take place in ICM München in the presence of experts from distribution and transmission system operators, renewable energy providers, and aggregators. This exchange is a unique opportunity to engage in-depth on the challenges, ideas and solutions that utility providers work on.

DSO Entity is actively involved in the Exchange, with several experts joining the four concurrent session discussions:

1. Mitigating Cybersecurity Risks to the Electricity Grid: Preparing for New Cybersecurity Threats and Regulations (10:00 - 12:00 CET)

  • Our Expert Maarten Hoeve (EG Cybersecurity) will chair the exchange "Mitigating Cybersecurity Risks to the Electricity Grid".

2. Congestion and Capacity Management (10:00 - 12:00 CET)

3. Data Interoperability Requirements Implied by the Upcoming Network Codes on Demand Response (13:00 - 15:00 CET)

  • Our Expert Georg Hartner (EG Data Interoperability Vice-Chair) will chair the exchange "Empowering Utilities: Navigating Data Interoperability for Demand Response Success". In the same session will also participate Expert Pablo Lopez Perez (EG Data Interoperability Vice-Chair).

4. Digital Transformation and Investment Needs for DSOs (13:00 - 15:00 CET)

  • From our Board of Directors, Luis Vale Cunha and Ramon Gallart Fernandez will participate in the session exchange on the digital transformation of electricity grids.
